Injepart Plastic Co., Ltd. was established in 1987. Prior to the forming of the company, I had already been engaged in the development, designing, manufacturing and injection molding for years. Having accumulated 26 years of solid experience in manufacturing, I have set up Tong Yong Development Company in 2010 to specialize in the manufacturing of 360 ∘Centrifugal Spin Mops.
My technical skills have benefited countless numbers of domestic companies in various fields over the years and have won many gold medals in various international inventors’ exhibitions. Presently there are three types of spinning bucket constructions: (1) Foot Pedaling, (2) Hand Pressing, (3) Electric Motor. Many defects are still present in each of the three constructions:
- FOOT PEDALED: There are four common types of gear constructions: (a) Row Teeth with parallel gears, (b) 90° angle umbrella style beveled gears, (c) Helical rod gears, and (d) Lever Gear. All such transmission gears are plastic gears with single point contact and insufficient force area to properly sustain the constant force applied to drive the center post causing the loosening of the center post. This often leads to inaccurate teeth contact points that causes stripped gears and lose of functions.
- HAND PRESSED SPINNING: The defects are that all hand-pressed type on the market used a 6. 5Øm/m spiral rod which does not provide sufficient torque to deliver the high spin speed particularly when the mophead is soaked and weighted. Once the mop handle become distorted it becomes useless. Besides, every component parts are anchored together by rivets and users do not have the options of replacing parts as necessary, which is lacking environment friendly concept. All transmission systems above depend upon the “one-way-ball-bearing” to drive the spin basket by instant twisting the axel connected to the spin basket. The one-way ball bearing is precisely made and has a life span of approximately 20,000 pedaling or presses. It requires lubrication periodically or when exposed to water the ball bearing and axel will become oxidized and
- MOTORIZED: Costly battery replacement is required in approximately a year(cost between NT$500-$1,000). The electronic components are vulnerable to moisture and short circuiting. Reaching desirable dampness require variable spin speed. New, unused mophead spin dries at 800-1000 rpm and used/soiled mophead depending on the condition of soil in the strands may require 1500-2500rpm spin speed to spin dry properly. The motor driven unit has a fixed spin speed of approximately 1000rpm so it is difficult to control the dampness.
Knowing of all various shortcomings or defects of spinner baskets on the market and in lengthy thoughts and study, I have invented the following : (1) Foot Pedaling Style super strong planetary style gear transmission construction. And (2) Hand Pressing Self Spinning Mop (non-one-way-ball-bearings) using a “dual thread roll plate instant drive clutch” and 29Øm/m spiral rod that delivers 4.5 times more torque compared to the commonly used 6.5Øm/m spiral rod on the market. Relative high torque means high spin speed and effortless up-and-down hand pressing. Maximum spin speed is as high as 4,200rpm.
